Who we are

Farpoint Capability Private Limited ("Farpoint", "we", "us") operates this website. We are registered in India with CIN U62099MH2000PTC127148, and our registered office is at Jay Anthariksh, Makwana Road, Near Thakur House, Marol Naka, Andheri (East), Mumbai, Maharashtra 400059, India. What we collect

We only collect what you choose to send us.

Enquiry form

• Your name, work email address and job title
• Your institution or company and its type
• The interest area you select and the message you write

Careers form

• Your name, email address, phone number and location
• Your specialism and years of experience
• Any note you write about yourself
• The CV file you attach

Automatically

• Your IP address and browser user-agent string, recorded with each submission to prevent abuse
• Standard server logs kept by our hosting provider

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. The only cookie this site may set is a session cookie for our own staff when they sign in to administer submissions.

Why we use it

• To answer your enquiry. Our lawful basis is your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to business contact.
• To consider you for roles. If you apply, we review your CV and contact you about current or future opportunities.
• To protect the site. IP addresses and rate-limit records help us block automated abuse.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for marketing unless you ask us to.

Bot protection

Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from automated scripts. Cloudflare receives technical signals from your browser for this purpose. See Cloudflare's own privacy documentation for details.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries: 24 months from your last contact with us.
• CVs and applications: 12 months, unless you ask us to keep them longer so we can consider you for future roles.
• Abuse-prevention records: 90 days.

Who sees it

Submissions are read only by Farpoint staff involved in responding to you or in recruitment. We share data with third parties only where necessary: our hosting provider Vodien, which stores the website and database, and Cloudflare, for the bot check described above. We may disclose information where the law requires it.

Where it is stored

Submissions are held in a database on servers operated by Vodien in Singapore. CV files are stored outside the public web directory and are accessible only to signed-in staff. Indian law permits the transfer of personal data to Singapore, and we apply the same protections to it wherever it is held.

How we protect it

• The site is served over HTTPS
• Uploaded files are validated by type and content, renamed, and stored where no browser can reach them
• The administration area is password-protected, rate-limited and excluded from search engines
• Access to submissions is limited to staff who need it

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, contact us through the contact form and we will respond within 30 days.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may also complain to your local data protection authority. In India, you may contact the Data Protection Board under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act.
